India's first bullet train that will run under the sea - भारत का पहला पानी के नीचे चलने वाला बुलेट ट्रेन. Passengers on the country's first bullet train, that will race between Mumbai and Ahmedabad, will spend a part of their journey under water.The nearly 500-km route planned will include a 21-km long tunnel through the sea, said an unnamed Railway Ministry official to the Press Trust of India.The under-the-sea stretch will lie near the Thane creek towards Virar, according to reports. Estimated to cost about Rs 97,636 crore, 81 per cent of the funding for the project will come by way of a loan from Japan.The official said the loan agreement with Japan is slated to be signed by the end of the year and construction work is likely to begin by the end of 2018.
